In our day to day life, there might be circumstances like hurricane which may cause us to fear and to tremble. At those helpless moments, remember that there is a mighty God who can surpass every limitation and save you from perils. He will say, “Peace! Be still” (Mark4:39) and calm your situation to make you shine in this world!
According to the promise “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness” (Isaiah 42:6,7), God kept my husband as light in this world to carry the gospel of Christ. He lived for many years after this incident and went to be with the Lord. In this way, the Lord will hold your hand also to fulfil your destiny in life. So, do not worry. You will live and shine as light in this world for His glory! Not a single word that He promised to you would ever fall on ground. The faithful and unfailing God would help you for sure.
A Prayer for Today
Loving Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I know that You love me so much and You will not let me go. I thank You for that. Lord, anoint me to accomplish Your will on earth. At all situations help me to praise You wholeheartedly, because according to Hebrews 13:15 “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that openly profess his name” offering the sacrifice of praise to You is Your will. I pray this prayer in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
