DAILY PRAYER

Monday, December 20, 2021

In Genesis 37, God gave Joseph a dream that one day his family would bow down before him. God showed him the end, and the promise was planted in his heart. But what God didn’t show him was the middle.

Years later, when the dream came to pass and Joseph was ruling over the nation of Egypt, I can hear him saying, “God, You gave me this incredible promise, but You didn’t tell me I’d be thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, falsely accused of a crime, and put in prison for years.”

If Joseph were here today, he would tell you, “Don’t get discouraged in the middle when life doesn’t make sense.” You know the promise is in your heart, but every circumstance says just the opposite.

Keep believing, keep being your best. If you’ll have faith for the middle, the God of the middle is going to protect you, provide for you, and favour you.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for Your promise to be with me through the deepest of waters. Even when life doesn’t make sense, I choose to trust in You and believe that

You are working behind the scenes for my good. I will have faith for the middle. In Yeshua the Messiah’s Name, Amen

In Romans 8, the apostle Paul asks, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” The “things” Paul is referring to are the teachings about salvation that he has discussed earlier, such as freedom from sin and death, the life-giving Spirit who lives in us, the new life we have as God’s children, the promise of renewal despite suffering we may face today, and strength and hope to endure.

Faith in Yeshua does not remove all the struggles we may encounter in life. Still, we know that “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Somehow, even despite bad things that can happen in our lives, God works to conform us “to the image of his Son.”

Paul’s question “Who can be against us?” answers itself: If God is for us, of course no one can be against us! And Paul goes on to say, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.”

Prayer for Today

Dear God, we know that if you are for us, nothing can stand against us. By your Spirit, guide us to live for you. In Yeshua the Messiah, Amen.

The best decision of our life was to live our life with God at the center. That was the essential first step to living at our full potential.

Now the key to experiencing an extraordinary life every day is to grow in our relationship with God. In the Scripture, Yeshua talks about how life with God is like a vine and its branches.

When a branch is connected to the vine, it receives nourishment and life. It’s able to produce fruit. In the same way, we have to stay connected to God so we can receive His strength and be empowered to accomplish all that He has for us. Yeshua put it this way, “Without Me you can do nothing.”

So how do we stay connected? First, by acknowledging Him. By talking to Him. By reading and following His Word.

See, when we acknowledge God, that’s a sign of humility. We’re saying, “God, I know You created the whole universe. You flung the stars into space. You tell every raindrop where to fall. I’m not here by accident. You breathed Your life into me. You made me in Your image. You crowned me with Your favour. God, I can’t do this without You. I can’t make it on my own. I need You in my life.”

When we show that kind of dependency on God, there is nothing He won’t do for us. God will move heaven and earth to get us to where we’re supposed to be.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, today I choose to abide in You. I don’t want to live life on my own, so I choose to trust in You. Show me Your ways. Teach me Your love. Keep me close to You always in Yeshua the Messiah name. Amen.

I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations” (Isaiah 60:15)

Obedience and dependence on God always have attracted an everlasting pride of His blessings that passes even from generation to generation.

The family of Ruth, a Moabite woman in the Bible, was broken. Yet, when she knew God and obeyed Him as soon as He called her, her family got the privilege of being a blessing from generation to generation. Yes, her name finds place in the lineage of Yeshua! (Matthew 1:5).

Today, God is calling us to bless us with an everlasting pride.  He wants us to be a history-maker! If we too believe in Him, we will experience His love towards us that blesses us in a greater way.

Beloved, do we want this sort of blessed posterity? Just believe in Him.  Get away from all ungodly ways.  Disown all evil pleasures and seek God with all of our heart, mind and body.

The God who blessed Ruth would lift us from our lowliness and make us sit with the kings! The God will grant us the desired blessing.

The beautiful promise “I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations” (Isaiah 60:15) is for us.  Our full surrender to the Almighty God would enthral us with His everlasting joy that glides into our family and to all our dear ones.

Today’s Prayer

Loving Lord, how blessed it is to lead a life that is delightful to You and to be blessed from generation to generation in this world. Please draw all the members of my family nearer to You.

Give me the grace to lead a life that is righteous and acceptable at Your sight.  Let me and my family be as shining stars on this earth for Your glory.  In the blessed name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah I pray, Amen.

In Your presence is fulness of joy. (Psalm 16:11)

In Yeshua, everything is complete! There is nothing but fullness in His presence; fullness of joy and eternal pleasures. He is all set to grant you these. To enjoy God’s fullness of Joy, we should choose “life” in Messiah – a life of living righteously.   Choose life over death.

Let us see Genesis, the beginning – Genesis 1:27 says “God created man in his own image”. Ezekiel talks about God being made of fire and was like molten metal till His waist. We see a tremendous light shining around Him (Ezekiel 1:27).

According to John 4:24, God is Spirit. Yet He has a form. Yeshua gave His life for every one of us (Hebrews 2:14,15). The blood of Yeshua the Messiah cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7,9).

Today we have a hope in Yeshua. Just ask Yeshua to wash us with His blood. Give up our wicked ways. Don’t hide behind the lust of the flesh. Open our heart for Yeshua. He shall wash and transform us. And you shall experience the joy of God’s presence in this world. Turn to Yeshua today.

A Prayer for Today

Dear Lord, I come before Your presence.  I acknowledge that I have sinned against you.  Now, I come with a repentant heart.  I want to be delivered from the bondage of sin.

Lord Yeshua, cleanse me by Your blood so that I shall be glad and enjoy the eternal pleasures in this world and in the world to come.

Bless my family this month and make us prosperous.  I thank You for receiving me and filling me with peace and joy.  In Your mighty name I pray, Amen.

I will take hold of your hand. (Isaiah 42:6)

In our day to day life, there might be circumstances like hurricane which may cause us to fear and to tremble. At those helpless moments, remember that there is a mighty God who can surpass every limitation and save us from perils. He will say, “Peace! Be still” (Mark4:39) and calm our situation to make us shine in this world!

According to the promise “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand.  I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness” (Isaiah 42:6,7).

In this way, the Lord will hold our hand also to fulfil our destiny in life.  So, do not worry.  We will live and shine as light in this world for His glory! Not a single word that He promised to us would ever fall on ground.  The faithful and unfailing God would help us for sure.

Today’s Prayer

Loving Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Yeshua. I know that You love me so much and You will not let me go. I thank You for that. Lord, anoint me to accomplish Your will on earth.

At all situations help me to praise You wholeheartedly, because according to Hebrews 13:15 “Through Yeshua, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that openly profess his name” offering the sacrifice of praise to You is Your will. I pray this prayer in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, Amen.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Messiah Yeshua. (Philippians 4:19)

When the people of Israel were in the desert on the way to the Promised Land, God gave them manna to eat. That was good. It sustained them for a while, but it wasn’t permanent provision.

The people had to move forward, and then God gave them quail. They were so excited. That fed them for a while, but it was also temporary.

See, God gave the Israelites temporary provision on the way to the Promised Land where they would have permanent provision. The fact that God had something much greater in store for their future is what kept them moving forward.

God could have sustained them with manna or quail, but God is a God of increase. He works in seasons, and He always has something better in store. Don’t get stuck in a rut and think that one way is going to last forever.

Instead, stay open and be willing to change, make adjustments, make corrections or try something new. If the “manna” stops coming, don’t get upset. Just keep moving forward and be on the lookout for the new provision God has in store for us!

A Prayer for Today

“Father God, You alone are the just and faithful God! Thank You for always providing for me. Thank You for leading and guiding me.

I trust that You have good things in store for my future and choose to keep my eyes on You in Yeshua’s name. Amen.

His divine power has given us everything we need for godly life… (2 Peter 1:3)

It’s easy to get stuck in life thinking we’ve reached our limits. But God wouldn’t have given us a dream without giving us the ability to accomplish it.

We have everything we need. Many times, the problem is that it’s buried inside. It’s hidden treasure. We have gifts and talents that we’ve not tapped into yet. There is potential that is waiting to be released.

When God laid out the plan for our life, He deposited in us the skill, the wisdom, the creativity; everything we need to fulfill our destiny. Now here’s the key: it’s not what we have in us that matters; it’s what we get out.

If we’re going to reach our highest potential, we have to tap into that hidden treasure. Now the challenge is, “don’t die with the treasure still on the inside.”

We have something to offer this world that nobody else can offer. We are unique, one of a kind. We are anointed to be we. Be confident in who God made us to be, knowing that we have what it takes to step into the fullness of our destiny.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I thank You that You will complete what You’ve started in my life.

Today I choose to put my trust in You knowing that a shift is coming. I declare that Your will be done in every area of my life in Yeshua’s name! Amen!

Do not throw away your confidence, which has a great rewards… (Hebrews 10:35)

Have we been praying and believing for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer than we thought? Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their answer come.

Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today; your answer is closer than you think! If it seems as though things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It always seems darkest just before the dawn appears.

Remember, we serve a faithful God, and He’s working behind the scenes on our behalf. Don’t cast away our confidence today because our reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labour pain when she is finally holding her newborn, we’ll forget about our struggle when we are holding on to our promise.

While we are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Stay in faith and look for His hand of blessing because He has promised us victory, and our reward is coming!

A Prayer for Today

“Father in heaven, today I stand believing that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength to continue believing until I see Your promises fulfilled in my life in Yeshua’s name. Amen.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. (Psalm 139:14)

Have we ever noticed that when we ask someone “Who are you?” a lot of times they’ll say, “I’m a salesman.” “I’m a minister.” “I’m a coach.” “I’m a teacher.” Many people find their identity in what they do. The problem with this kind of thinking is that people identify themselves with their negative habits and strongholds, too.

We hear people say, “I’m an alcoholic; I just can’t beat it.” No, that’s not who we are, that’s what we do. But if we keep thinking that way and talking that way, it will become so ingrained on the inside that we’ll convince ourselves that it’s true, and it will keep us from rising higher.

There was a drug dealer who was embarrassed by his work. He didn’t want to live that way.  Servant of God told him what I’m telling you, “That’s not who you are. If you’ve accepted Yeshua as your Lord and Saviour, then who you are a child of the Most High God. It’s time to start acting like it because you have a destiny to fulfil.”

As a believer, we are the righteousness of God in Messiah! We are the head and not the tail! We are an overcomer! Today, embrace who we are in Messiah and don’t ever let our performance change our identity.

A Prayer for Today

“Father God, thank You for who You are and for who You’ve made me. I declare today that I am the righteousness of God in Messiah. Help me to keep my identity in You and glorify You in all that I do in Yeshua’s name Amen.
