DAILY PRAYER

Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD?” (Genesis 18:13–14)

Abraham was ninety-nine years old when the Lord told him that within a year, he would have a son. He and Sarah were way too old to have a baby. It was so far out that when Sarah heard it, she laughed.

Has God ever put something in your heart that seemed so unlikely, so big that your first reaction was to laugh? He whispers in your spirit that you’re going to live in a nice neighborhood, lead your company in sales, see your family restored, or get your health back.

If Abraham would have only looked at it logically, he would have given up. But Abraham did what we all must do: He believed. “Yes, it’s impossible, but God can do the impossible.

It defies the laws of nature, but God supersedes the laws of nature.” Whatever looks impossible in your life, what God started He will finish. As was true for Abraham, we will see the promise come to pass.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the dreams, the promises, and the potential You put inside me. Thank You that because You are supernatural, I can hope on in faith even when I can’t find another reason for hope.

I trust that what You promised me is going to come to pass. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

The Blessing Stands (Genesis 39:2)

The Lord greatly blessed Joseph there in the home of his master, so that everything he did succeeded.

As a teenager, God gave Joseph a dream that one day he would lead a nation and people would bow down before him. But he was betrayed by his brothers, taken to Egypt, and sold as a slave to a high ranking official named Potiphar.

Joseph could have been bitter and complained, “God, I thought Your blessing was on my life. I thought You said I would do great things.” Instead he kept being his best, doing more than required, and he was greatly blessed in everything he did.

Notice that God was with Joseph in the unfair situation. The blessing was still on his life. Sometimes we think we’re not blessed when something goes wrong. That didn’t stop the blessing. People can’t take away the favor God put on you.

A disappointment doesn’t cancel out the blessing. The setbacks are not the end; they are a setup for what God is about to do. Don’t get sour when life is unfair. The blessing is still on you.

A Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for Your presence and favor in my life that no situation or person can take away.

Thank You for the blessing that is on my career, on my property, and on my health. I believe that I am blessed and stand out because I am Your child. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

When Yeshua heard him, he stopped and said, Tell him to come here, Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Yeshua.(Mark 10:49–50)

When the blind beggar Bartimaeus heard Yeshua say come, the first thing he did was throw off his coat.

This was significant because some commentators say that people who had a legitimate disability in those days were given an official coat from the government that gave them the legal right to beg.

It qualified them to make their living but also marked their dependency. When Bartimaeus threw this coat aside, he was making the declaration, “This is a new day. I no longer need this coat for my dependency.

Yeshua has come, and I am going to be healed.” I wonder how many of us are still wearing a beggar’s coat of sorts? “I have a reason to be negative and bitter. I had a bad childhood. I came down with this illness.

I lost a love one.” Before you’re going to get well, you have to stop being the victim, stop the excuses, and take off the coat. Change your mindset to that of a victor. .

A Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for Your call to come to You and leave the past behind. I let go of all my excuses and refuse to settle for less than Your best for me. I declare that I will have a victor’s mindset and become all You created me to be. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

Grasshopper Disease (Numbers 13:33)

There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.

When Moses sent twelve men to spy out the Promised Land, ten came back with a negative report. Notice how they didn’t say, “The giants called us grasshoppers.” They said, “We were in our own sight as grasshoppers.”

They went in with a grasshopper mentality. Their thinking was contaminated before they got there. Opposition doesn’t determine who we are; it simply reveals who we are. If we have a grasshopper mentality, all our challenges and problems will look too big.

“I can’t beat this sickness. I can’t get out of debt.” The problem is not the giants; the problem is our thinking. We’ve been infected with grasshopper disease. Joshua and Caleb saw the same giants, yet they said, “We are well able.

Let us go in at once and take the land.” Their thinking wasn’t infected. They knew the forces for them were greater than the forces against them.

When we’re not infected, we’ll have a boldness and confidence to take ground that others think is impossible.

A Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that You are always greater than any difficulty or adversity I will ever face. Thank You that I am not a grasshopper, but I am well able to go in and take the land. I believe that You are going to bring me to the next level. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.” (Psalm 23:2)

The Lord promises to give you that peace today. Sometimes you become so stressed out in life with many things that you don’t spend time with God and relax in his presence.

You may be anxious and worried thinking about how you are going to complete a certain project or exam that you don’t even take the time to experience the presence of God. Psalm 23:2 says “He makes me lie down.” Yes, the Lord is going to make you lie down by his side.

If you watch any herd of sheep, after grazing you will see them lying down in the pastures, relaxing and enjoying their time. Often the shepherd also lies down near the sheep. Likewise, God is going to spend time with you, be next to you, and give you peace and relaxation.

The Lord is going to be very close to you. Today, the Lord is telling you not to worry about anything for he is in control of everything in your life. That is the kind of peace he will give you today.

The Bible says in John 14 27: “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I give to you not as the world gives.” The Lord is going to give his peace today in to your heart. No matter what goes on around you, you are going to feel God’s presence and peace.

Even during this time because of the COVID situation, you may be very afraid for your life; but the Lord says that his peace will be with you and nothing will be able to touch you. So, just relax and enjoy God’s divine presence and peace.

A Prayer for Today:

Our loving heavenly Father, I thank you because you are going to fill me with your presence and a wonderful kind of peace that I am going to be worried about anything in my life.

Fill me with your spirit so that I will not be stressed or anxious but relax with your divine peace.
In Yeshua’s name, I pray. Amen

…looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

What you’re believing for, the promises you’re standing on, the dreams you’ve been praying about, they’re already in route. The healing is coming, the promotion is coming, and the right people are coming.

You may not see any signs of it yet; everything looks the same. What you can’t see is that behind the scenes, God is moving the wrong people out of the way, pushing back the forces of darkness. He’s arranging things in your favor, lining up the breaks you need.

He’s called the author and the finisher of our faith. He’s going to finish what He started in your life. God didn’t bring you this far to leave you.

You may have big challenges, but we serve a big God. Your enemies may be powerful, but our God is all-powerful. That dream may look impossible, but God can do the impossible.

Even when you don’t think you have the connections, the resources, or the talent, God is for you, and He’s saying, “Favor is on the way.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that Yeshua is the author and finisher of my faith, and He will finish what He started in my life.

Thank You that You’re always working behind the scenes and arranging things in my favor. I believe that You are for me, and favor is on the way. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will bring me safely through them. (Psalm 138:7)

In Psalm 138, David was saying, “Even though everything has come against me, I won’t be worried because the battle is not mine.

The battle is the Lord’s, so I’m going to take my seat.” When you try to make everything happen in your own strength—pay people back, worry about your finances, try to get someone to like you—you are standing up.

As long as you’re working, God will rest. But when you sit down, God will stand up and go to work. When He says, “Be still, and know that I am God,” He is saying, “Sit down. I’ve got this.”

It’s not that we sit back passively. We have to fight the good fight, but we do that from a place of rest. When you do your best, you can work hard with a rest inside, knowing God will get you to where you’re supposed to be.

God is saying, “Take your seat. My favor is on your life. Live from a place of rest.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that the battle before me today is not mine but Yours. I could be worried and upset, but I’m going to take my seat and live from a place of rest.

I believe that You are bigger than any problem, and You have this covered. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

“I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory, and no one will covet your land when you go up three times each year to appear before the LORD your God.” (Exodus 34:24)

The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. (Genesis 12:1)

So Abraham took all his relatives and went to Canaan the promised land. Afterwards this promise was enlarged as his descendant Solomon reigned over many kingdoms. For we read, “And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.

These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.” (1 Kings 4:21) Likewise according to His precious promise the Lord will keep increasing all your borders. When He starts blessing you He will keep on blessing you.

He says, “I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.” (Jeremiah 32:40)

His hand is a big hand that has created the heavens and the earth and with that hand when He blesses us, we will see increase in every way. Will He not bless us with that awesome hand? As in Deuteronomy 11:24, “Every place where you set your foot will be yours. Your territory will extend.“ The Lord will give us every land where we set our foot on. Inherit this promise today.

A Prayer for Today
Loving Father, Enlarge my territory. Satisfy me with the finest wheat. Let me have no lack. Give me my own property.

Let blessings flow into my life. Let all the struggles concerning my possessions end today. May I increase in every way. Let Your mighty hand prosper me. Wherever I set my foot, lift my head there as a blessing. In Yeshua’s precious name, I pray. Amen.

“He rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

Yes, the Lord is going to reward us when we seek Him earnestly. So how do we seek Him earnestly? We have to sit at His feet and listen to what He wants to speak to us.

Sometimes when we sit down to pray we tell the Lord all our requests saying, “Lord, I want this, help me to do this, be with me this day and we never stop to listen to what He has to say. So today take a decision to listen to what He has to say.

You will hear the Lord speaking to you when you quiet yourself. The Lord will speak to you through the Bible or He will speak directly to your heart. When He speaks to you, you will have great peace in your heart that you will know that it is Him.

We all know the story of Daniel in the Bible. In Daniel 6:10 we read, “Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem.

Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.”

Even though there was a change in the law of the land and there was trouble awaiting him, Daniel continued to pray three times a day. No matter what was to happen he earnestly sought the Lord. In the same way, we have to earnestly seek the Lord.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” So from now on seek Him with all our heart. Sometimes we are so busy with our lives, we are so anxious about our work, our family that we don’t even sit down and seek His face but today let’s take a decision to seek the Lord first thing in the morning.

When we give the Lord first place in our life, our life will turn around and we will see a change. When we do that the Lord will reward us in every aspect of our life. We will see blessings in every aspect of our life.

A Prayer for Today

Loving Father, I will seek You from today and sit and listen to Your words. Speak to me through Your still and small voice. No matter what anxiety or trouble assails me I choose to give You first place in my life.

Forgive me for the times I have not sought You earnestly and I have not had time to sit down at Your feet. From today give me grace to seek Your face and reward me with blessings.
In Yeshua’s precious name, I pray. Amen.

I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace. (Philippians 4:13)

If you’re always depending on others for your approval and self-worth, counting on somebody else to make you happy, you’ll become needy and a burden.

If you’re basing your value on how people treat you or what they give you, when they don’t measure up to what you expect, you’re going to feel devalued.

But when you go to God for your approval and value, nobody can take that away. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has already approved you. That’s where you get your value.

The apostle Paul said he was “self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.” When we know that the God who created the universe lives in us, that He’s equipped and empowered us, and that He approves us, we don’t have to have other people’s approval.

If you’re not getting what you expect from others, let that be okay. You can affirm and approve yourself, knowing that God handpicked you, He breathed life into you, and He put seeds of greatness inside.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can find my value and worth and approval in You alone. Thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life, but help me not to become dependent upon them. I declare that I have Your approval and love, and that’s all I need. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great.” (Luke 6:35)

We all have people who have done us wrong. It’s easy to hold on to the hurt, to be vindictive and try to pay them back. One test we have to pass is to not only forgive people, but to be good to those who have not been good to us.

When they betrayed you, when they left you out, when they said things that weren’t true, that put you at a disadvantage. It wasn’t fair, but God is a God of justice and will turn the tables at some point.

You’ll be up, and they’ll be down. When you’re in a position of power, the real test of how high you can go is what you do to people who hurt you. Yeshua says, “When somebody takes your shirt, give them your coat too.”

That’s a test. That’s God seeing if you’re ready to be promoted. When God can trust you to handle favor, influence, and power without using it to be vindictive, He can take you to new levels.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have been so merciful, loving, and forgiving of me, and thank You that You are working in my life to make me more like You.

Help me to forgive, to love, and to be good to those who have done wrong to me. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.
