DAILY PRAYER

Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. (Acts 3:6–7)
After Peter spoke a word of faith to the crippled beggar in Acts 3, Peter wouldn’t let him stay down. He didn’t give him a choice.
He prayed and then he pulled him up. We need some friends like Peter who won’t let us stay down. When we’re in the pits, when we can’t get up on our own, we don’t need people who feel sorry for us.
You need people who pull us out of that pit. We need people who love us so much they won’t let us make excuses or stay discouraged or give up on our dream. They not only pray but pull us up.
We may need to get away from a negative environment and people who are enabling our dysfunction and holding us back.
Let us get away from people who tell us that where we are is where we’ll always be. Stay in an environment of faith.
If we do this, we’re going to see increase, new levels, new relationships, new talents, and the fullness of our destiny.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for friends who won’t let me stay down but are there to help pull me up when I need them.
Help me to develop relationships with the right people and to separate from those who keep me in the pits. I declare that I will stay in an environment of faith. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.”

“I will go before you and make the crooked places straight…” (Isaiah 45:2)
We may have big obstacles in our paths that we can’t overcome on our own. The good news is that we’re not on our own.
We have the most powerful force in the universe breathing in our direction. When He speaks, Red Seas part, blind eyes open, and dead come back to life.
We look at our circumstances in the natural, but He’s a supernatural God. He goes before us, makes our crooked places straight, and fights our battles. No person can stop us—no bad break, no sickness, no failure.
Maybe at one time we believed, we were passionate and excited about life, but things haven’t turned out the way we hoped.
We had some bad breaks, some disappointments. God is saying, “It’s time to believe again.” We haven’t seen our best days. What God promised us is still going to come to pass.
We haven’t missed too many opportunities. If it had happened sooner, it wouldn’t have been the right time. Now is the time. Stir up our faith. Start believing again.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and You handpicked me and set me apart for Your own purpose.
Thank You for calling me to live by a higher standard and be distinct. I want my life to be uncommon and bring You praise. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. (Psalm 25:14)
When we honor God, He will tell us secrets. He’ll whisper things in our inner ears, give insight into what we couldn’t have known otherwise. We can’t explain it, we don’t know how we know it, but we just know it.
We hear of people getting in trouble for insider trading. That means somebody inside the company who has knowledge of what’s going on is giving another person on the outside information about their stock that’s going to cause it go up or down before the public knows.
That way they can sell off or buy more. They have an advantage because they have inside information. That’s what God does for us. He knows where the good breaks are, and He knows how to catapult us years ahead.
If we’ll be sensitive to His still, small voice, if we obey His inner promptings, God will give us inside information. We’ll know things that we couldn’t have known on our own that will thrust us into our destiny.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being my Lord and God and for always being there to lead and guide in the way I should go.
Thank You that You whisper secrets in my inner ear and give me insight I couldn’t know on my own. Help me to be sensitive to Your voice and just obey. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

Everything You Need (Ephesians 6:14)
But to do this, you will need the strong belt of truth and the breastplate of God’s approval.
Sometimes the reason people don’t give us what we think we need in a relationship is because they didn’t see it modeled growing up.
If we didn’t see family members giving love and approval and expressing our feelings, they don’t have it to give. If we’re trying to get it from them, we’re going to be frustrated.
Why don’t we let them off the hook and go to God for what they can’t give? Here’s the key: God has everything we need.
When we learn the principle to not rely on people but rely on Him for our approval, value, and encouragement, we won’t live stressed out because somebody is not giving us what we expect.
God didn’t base the plan for our lives upon other people. If we only look to others, when they fall short, we’re going to be resentful and bitter.
Only God can give us self-worth and a sense of well-being. The right attitude is, “Nobody owes me anything. God alone has everything I need.”
A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You made me to be complete and content in You alone. Help me to realize when I’m looking to others to give me what only You can give and to let them off the hook.
I believe and declare that I find everything I need in You. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

The LORD has made everything for his own purposes… (Proverbs 16:4)
When someone walks out of our lives and we don’t understand, it’s easy to get discouraged. But when we meet the divine connection He has for us, somebody better than us ever dreamed, we’ll look back and say it was part of His purpose.
Or, what about the supervisor who tried to keep you down all those years? You didn’t realize it at the time, but staying in that workplace with a good attitude, giving your best, and doing the right thing when the wrong thing was happening was developing your character, strengthening your spiritual muscles, and getting you prepared for the next level.
You wouldn’t be who you are without that difficulty. You didn’t like it at the time, but you look back now and say that was good.
God’s ways are better than our ways. He sees things we can’t see. He always has a purpose in what He’s doing. Trust Him. If we keep honoring Him, it’s just a matter of time before God brings it all together.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You see the big picture for my life, and You use difficulties for my good. Help me to be patient and trusting when things happen that I don’t understand.
I believe that You will bring it all together for my good. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
What God said to Jeremiah, He says to each of us. We’re not like everyone else. We’ve not only been handpicked by the Most High God, but He set us apart for His own purpose.
He made us uncommon. Could it be the reason we’re not seeing increase is we’re being common? Perhaps we’re stuck at one level because we’re just fitting in, being like everyone else. There’s nothing different about us.
That’s not who we are. We’ve been set apart. When others around us have a sour, critical attitude, we have to dig our heels in and say, “That is not the way I’m going to live. I’m going to enjoy each day and be grateful. I’m going to be good to people and expect God’s favor.”
We may be surrounded by people who are lazy, taking the easy way out, but live by a higher standard. Don’t let that keep us from our destiny. We’ve been set apart. We’re not common. Now do our part and don’t live common.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and You handpicked me and set me apart for Your own purpose.
Thank You for calling me to live by a higher standard and be distinct. I want my life to be uncommon and bring You praise. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, and like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” (Isaiah 44:22)
Imagine our mistakes and failures as a thick fog covering us. We can barely see anything in front of us. Then the sun comes out, and the fog disappears.
It doesn’t move somewhere else; the sun evaporates it. We all have times when we’re clouded by sin, mistakes, and poor choices, but when we ask God to forgive us, the Son comes out, shines His light, and causes that sin to disappear—it’s gone. Hebrews 10:17 says He will remember our sins no more.
My challenge to you is, quit remembering what God has forgotten. Quit bringing up what’s already evaporated. If you keep dwelling on and reliving mistakes you’ve made, you’re causing that dark cloud to follow you everywhere you go.
God evaporates it, and it’s sunny for a few hours. But then you start thinking about it again, reliving the guilt, and a new cloud forms. You are redeemed and restored, so keep the Son out in your life and walk in His light.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for blotting out all my sins like a thick cloud and for releasing me from condemnation because of past mistakes.
Thank You for redeeming me and for Your promise that You will remember my sins no more. I want to walk freely in Your light. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners.” (Isaiah 57:18).
God does two things to us. First, He heals us and then He comforts us. How does He heal us? Hosea 14:4 says, “I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.” He is the One who hurts us and heals us.
We see that in Hosea 6:1 where it says, “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.”
Why does God heal us to heal others? He heals us not just to heal others but also to comfort others. To comfort us God sends another Comforter. He is none another than the Holy Spirit.
In John 14:16 Yeshua says that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” He will comfort you and heal you.
Yes, the Holy Spirit will pray for us and intercede for us bringing us God’s comfort. We see so in Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
In the Bible, we see how Job suffered when the Lord tested him. His friends wounded his heart with their words. They accused job. It was in some way that the Lord Himself who had allowed Job to go through the pain and suffer with wounds.
But God did not leave him to suffer till the end. We read in James 5:11, “As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about.
The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.” God did heal Job and restore everything back to him. Today, Job is our example and comfort in our difficult times.
The Lord will heal you too and comfort you so that you who receive the comfort will be a comfort to others (2 Corinthians 1:4).
A Prayer for Today
Loving Father, Let Your special anointing come upon me today. Touch and heal my sicknesses. Let every weakness be removed.
May Your Holy Spirit come upon me today and deliver me completely. Let the Comforter rise up within me, comfort me and make me a comfort to others. In Yeshua’s precious name, I pray. Amen.

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. (Exodus 14:14)
God had just delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, and they were traveling toward the Promised Land.
But Pharaoh changed his mind. As the Israelites headed into a dead end at the Red Sea, they saw Pharaoh’s army coming after them at full force.
They had nowhere to go. It looked as though they would certainly be recaptured or killed. They began to panic and cried out, “Moses, why did you bring us out here to die?”
Moses told the people to not be afraid, for the Lord would fight for them if they held their peace and remained at rest.
Notice there’s a condition. If we remain at rest, the Creator of the universe will fight for us.
If we don’t worry about the medical report, if we don’t get upset over the contract we didn’t get, if we don’t live stressed out over the people who are talking about us, because we’re at rest, God will fight our battles and get us to where we’re supposed to be.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your hand of protection upon my life. When I face problems that seem overwhelming, help me learn to hold my peace and remain at rest.
I am believing that You will fight my battles and get me to where I’m supposed to be. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. (1 Samuel 16:13)
David’s life was set on a new course by just one person. When Samuel came to his house and anointed him to be king, his whole world changed.
What’s interesting is that David didn’t go after Samuel. Samuel came after David. We don’t have to go after the blessing. Keep honoring God, and the blessing will come to us.
The right person, the healing, the promotion will find us. We spend too much time trying to make things happen. Then we get frustrated because it’s taking so long.
But we can’t make things happen that are out of God’s timing. We can’t make people like us who are not supposed to like us. We can’t open a door that God has closed.
Quit focusing on who’s not for us, and start focusing on who is for us. The Most High God is breathing in our direction.
He has kept us in the palms of His hands. His plans for us are for good. His being for us is more than the world being against us.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that just one person, just one promotion, just one touch of Your favor can set my life on a brand-new course.
Thank You that You open and close doors and make the right things happen for me on Your timetable. I believe that You are working out Your plan for my life. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen
