DAILY PRAYER

Though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Messiah. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

In our battle against evil, we use the spiritual weapons of God that enable us to know the truth and the freedom that the truth brings.

The devil’s greatest tools are deception and death. God’s grace allow us to see through the deception and demolish its falsifying grip on the minds of men and women.

God’s power has broken through the barrier of death and given us victory in Yeshua the Messiah. Our task in this victory to obey our Lord and help others to do the same, finding his grace and power sufficient to help us overcome all that we face that could defeat us.

A Prayer for Today

Father, thank you for availing us the divine power to demolish stronghold. Your power has broken through the barrier of death and given us victory in Yeshua the Messiah.

Father, let Your Spirit lead us to know the truth and the freedom that the truth brings. We ask this in the mighty name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. Amen

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. (Psalm 32:7)

Out of the attacks of evil come the victories of God and the victory chants of God’s people. Let’s find our strength and protection in our holy God!

Let’s make God our hiding place, our source of security, and our hope in times of trouble.

Father, thank you for the confidence I have in your power and your might to deliver me from every attack of the evil one.

You are worthy of all glory, honor, power, and praise. In the name of your Son and my Lord, Yeshua the Messiah, I thank you for deliverance and praise you for your might. Amen

So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. (Colossians 3:12)

As a parent, sometimes we pick out clothes for our children to wear. Our heavenly Father has picked out something for us to wear—kindness, compassion, humbleness, being disciplined.

When we’re kind, people are drawn to us. When we’re good-natured, friendly, and humble, opportunities will come our way. People want to do business with people they like.

When we’re hiring someone, a person’s résumé tells us what their skills are and what they’ve done, but we always meet with them to see what their attitude is. Are they positive, friendly, kind, and considerate?

They can be extremely talented and have incredible potential, but a bad attitude will keep them from rising higher.

Studies show that our attitude will have a greater impact on our success than our IQ. Our attitude can make up for a lack of experience, a lack of training, and a lack of talent. Make the decision every day to live in faith, to be hopeful, kind, and humble, and then watch how our lives will start improving.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that though I can’t change my present circumstances or my past, I can control my attitude and make adjustments to keep it fresh and positive.

Thank You that I can be dressed in kindness, compassion, and humbleness. I’m going to live today with a great attitude. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.”

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8.)

God has a plan to reach the world with his grace. We start where we are and reach out to those around us.

We then share the story of Yeshua with those in our region. Then we reach out and take the gospel all over the world.

As we offer ourselves to be used, we also trust that the Holy Spirit’s power and presence will go with us.

A Prayer for Today

Father, use me to reach those around me with your grace. bless our congregation as we share Jesus with those in our area.

Father, I also ask that you bless our outreach efforts world-wide. Please use us to fulfill your plan to reach all nations with the message of Yeshua, in whose name I pray. Amen

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17)

Deliverance! A great theme of the Bible is that God is a God of deliverance who keeps his promises and faithfully shares his grace, mercy, and justice.

Let this promise stir us to righteous living and then to cry out to God in all our troubles. One way to do this is to read through the Psalms regularly, letting these inspired words from so long ago offer a rich topography of prayer from which we can call to God.

Whether we use the Psalms or not, however, cry out to God with the praises, questions, and wounds that life brings. Let his presence be real to us and our heart open to him.

A Prayer for Today

Father, our world needs your deliverance. In your majesty and power, please destroy the plans of the wicked. In your mercy and grace, please raise up your people who find themselves facing hardship and trouble. In Yeshua’s name. Amen.

One day Yeshua told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes. (Luke 18:1)

From the time we ask God for help with a need in our lives until the time it comes to pass is called “the trial of our faith.” That’s when it’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for.

When it’s taking longer than we thought, it’s easy to talk ourselves out of it and think, “I tried. I did my best. It’s just not meant to be.”

No, keep praying, keep believing. It may not have happened yet, but what God promised us, He’s still going to bring to pass. God is working behind the scenes in answer to our prayers and is about to break stubborn things.

God is about to break down those strongholds that have held us back and look permanent. Suddenly, things are going to turn around. Suddenly, we’re going to be free from that addiction.

Suddenly, that depression is going to be broken. Suddenly, our business is going to take off. Keep praying. Keep praising. Keep believing.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the great promises and the desires You have put on my heart that I can bring to You and ask You for.

Thank You for the clear word to keep praying until the answer comes. I believe that my times are in Your hands, and You will answer in Your perfect timing. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

John the Baptist, who was in prison…sent his disciples to ask Yeshua, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” (Matthew 11:2–3)

John the Baptist had declared Yeshua to be the Lamb of God, had seen the Spirit of God descend like a dove on Yeshua, and had heard a voice from heaven say, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Yet later, when John was in prison, he started having doubts and sent his disciples to ask Yeshua if He was really the Messiah. John was vulnerable and honest, and Yeshua wasn’t the least disappointed in him. He understood what John was going through and answered with assurance.

When we have doubts and questions, fears and struggles, be honest about it. Faith doesn’t exempt us from life. Faith doesn’t make us not feel things.

When we’re honest with God about our doubts, our shortcomings, and our fears, that’s not a weakness, that’s a strength. The first step to overcoming a weakness is to get it out in the open. When we humble ourselves and ask God for help, He will give us strength to overcome what we couldn’t overcome.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that I don’t have to hide my weaknesses, doubts, fears, or shortcomings. Thank You that Your power goes to work in me when I am honest. I humbly admit that I don’t have it all together, but I’m glad You’re still working on me. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.” (Luke 6:38)

The Scripture talks about how as we give, we’ll be blessed in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

As we give of our resources, we’re about to come into those running-over blessings—with influence, resources, creativity, strength, health, and joy. God is a running-over God.

He’s not a get-by God. He’s a more-than-enough God. We may not see how it can happen, but God has ways to bless us that we’ve never thought of.

When Peter needed money for taxes, Jesus told him to go to the lake and the first fish he caught had the money he needed in its mouth.

Peter didn’t have to figure it out, and neither do we. God controls the whole universe. Just dare to believe. We may be thinking ordinary, but God is thinking overflow. We’re expecting the way it’s been, but God’s about to exceed our expectations.

He’s about to do a new thing. We’re going to come into that running-over blessing where it’s nothing we did, it’s just the goodness of God.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for being the God of infinite grace who always exceeds my greatest expectations. Thank You that as I give freely of myself, You will bless me to the point of overflowing.

I declare that I dare to believe that You are the more-than-enough God. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together. (Psalm 34:3)

Isn’t it good that we can sing alone and know God loves our song! Isn’t it even better that we can join others in songs of praise and lose ourselves in wonder, love, and praise! Let’s spend today finding other believers and praising God together.

All around the world, hundreds of thousands strong, let’s reach out to other believers and ask them to join us in glorifying the Lord!

A Prayer for Today

Almighty and merciful God, please be pleased with my praise and my attempts to join others in bringing you glory.

Forgive me for sins, slips, and slights. Empower me to be a living witness to your magnificent grace. In Yeshua’s name. Amen

“I will teach you about the hand of God; what is with the Almighty I will not conceal.” (Job 27:11)

Life is too short to live frustrated because we’re not getting our ways or because something unfair happened. God wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to keep us from our destiny. It’s a test.

Are we going to let it steal our joy, or are we going to be still and know that He is God? If He’s not changing it, we have to be mature enough to say, “God, I don’t like this situation, but You’re in control. I’m going to stay in peace and enjoy my life.”

Could it be that what’s frustrating you is really the hand of God? Could it be He’s doing things behind the scenes that are for our good?

He’s guiding us, protecting us, positioning us, preparing us. Not everything that happens is ordained by God, but nothing can happen without His permission.

When it doesn’t make sense to us, we have to trust Him. He’s given us grace to go through it. If we pass the test, we’ll see promotion, healing, breakthroughs, and new levels.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that I can be still and know that You are God. Help me to realize that Your hand is at work behind the scenes in my life, and You’re working things for my good. I declare that I’m going to stay in peace and know that You are in control. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.”
