DAILY PRAYER

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way. (Romans 14:13)

It is so easy to be judgmental of others. We don’t know their struggles. We don’t know their situation. Most of all, we don’t know their hearts.

When we are judgmental, we erect a barrier between others and ourselves. We often spread that judgmental impression to others in gossip. Our stubborness to only view them with a judgemental spirit erects a barrier, a stumbling block, that can cause them to become discouraged and stumble.

A Prayer for Today

Father, I ask you to conform my attitude toward others to match the redemptive grace you have for them. I want to be more patient with the failures of others, just as you are patient with mine.

Forgive me for not being more of an encouragement to those who are weak and struggling and open my eyes to the ways I can be a blessing to them.

Forgive me for those times I have been a hindrance to others and open my heart to share your blessings with them. Please use me to be an instrument of grace. In Yeshua’s name. Amen.

I will exalt you, LORD, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me. (Psalm 30:1)

Have we ever wondered, “Why are all these unfair setbacks and difficulties coming against me? Why all the opposition?”

It’s because when we gave our life to Messiah, God said, “You’re mine.” When He put a crown of favor on our head, we became a target to the enemy.

He knows God has destined us to take new ground, so he’s working overtime to try to stop us. Those bad breaks weren’t random; those were strategic attacks. The enemy wouldn’t waste his time bringing those challenges if he didn’t know there was greatness in us.

We need to know that there is a fight for our future, but it’s not our battle. God is fighting for us. The enemy may send opposition that looks too big, but God triumphs over every negative force.

Those setbacks and difficulties that are trying to keep us from our destiny, God is speaking to them right now. Breakthroughs are coming, healing is coming, freedom is coming, victory is coming. The greatness in us is about to come out.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for every time You have rescued me and refused to let the enemy triumph over me. Thank You that my future is safely in Your hands, and You are fighting for me.

I believe that the setbacks and difficulties are about to give way to breakthroughs and victory. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

“For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night.” (Revelation 12:10)

Some people will try to define us by our mistakes. They’ll stick labels on us, reminding us of the times we failed, the times we compromised, the times we didn’t measure up.

When we go through one bad season, don’t be surprised if people say, “God’s not going to bless us. We gave into temptation. We’re divorced. Our business failed.”

Don’t let people label us. They can’t stop what God has ordained for our life. The only person who can stop us are ourselves. If we believe the lies from the accuser of the brethren, that will keep us from our destiny.

We may have failed, but we’re not a failure. That was a moment in our life, that was one season, and it doesn’t determine our future.

We can’t stop others from putting a negative label on us, but we can take it right off. “I’m not defined by my mistakes. I’m defined by what God says about me. I am forgiven. I am redeemed. My failures are in my yesterday.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that there are no negative labels that can stick to those who are in Yeshua the Messiah, and that includes me.

Thank You that I am not defined by my mistakes and failures, but I am defined by what You say about me. I am forgiven and redeemed and free from condemnation. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature…(2 Peter 1:4)

All of us have dreams we’re believing for, but too often we get discouraged and quit believing for the fullness of what’s in our heart. It’s easy to water down what God promised us.

“I don’t like this job, but it’s good enough.” “I was believing for a house, but this apartment is okay.” “I was hoping to get well, but I’ve learned to live with this sickness.”

If we’re going to become all we were created to be, we have to keep a fire in our spirit that says, “I refuse to settle for less than what God promised.” We’re not going to be talked out of it, we’re not going to water it down, and we’re not going to let good enough be good enough.

It may be more difficult and taking longer than we thought, but what God promised us is still on the way—not a watered-down version, not a make-do promotion, not a partial healing, not a good-enough marriage. God doesn’t water down what He’s spoken to us.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the great and precious promises You have given me that enable me to share in Your life and nature.

Thank You that You never water down what You’ve promised. I refuse to settle for less than what You’ve promised. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

How can we be confident in what happens today? What is our assurance for tomorrow? Where do we muster excitement about eternity?

The Lord is our helper! Fear will not be our master because our future, our destiny, our eternity rest in the hands of the eternal Lord. The worst that man can do is to send me home to my Lord.

A Prayer for Today

Almighty God, my Father and my helper, I place my trust in you. As the Alpha and Omega, I trust you for all of my tomorrows and place my trust and dependence in you for today. In Yeshua’s name I praise you. Amen.

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. (2 Timothy 1:6)

One of the saddest things would be to come to the end of life and wonder what we could have become.

“What if I hadn’t neglected to use the gift that God gave me? What if I had broken away from the people who were causing me to compromise? What if I had controlled my temper and treated my spouse with respect? What if I had taken that step of faith in my career and not played it safe all the time?”

We don’t have to wonder. We can start today. We can still become who God created us to be. The question is, do we want it badly enough?

We have to go after what God has for us. Being passive and indifferent will keep us from our destiny. Stir our passion up and make the decision, “I’m going to pursue God and all that He has put in my heart. I’m going to take steps to grow the gift He gave me. I’m going to come up higher.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for entrusting me with gifts and talents. Thank You that I have greatness in me because You put it there.

Help me stir up my faith and let the passion become a flame. I’m going to take steps to grow the gift You gave me. I’m going to come up higher. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Yeshua the Messiah. (Philippians 4:7)

All through the day there’s clutter coming our ways—disappointments, drama, stress, worry, guilt, jealousy. That’s why the Scripture tells us to guard our mind.

We have to be proactive if we’re going to keep our mind in peace. Quit dwelling on thoughts that tell us everything we’re not. Program our mind with what God says about us.

We’ve been wonderfully made by God and are exactly how we are supposed to be. Now get in agreement with Him.

With a quiet confidence, we need to have this recording playing in our mind: “I’m a masterpiece. I’m one of a kind. I’m talented, equipped, and empowered. I’m favored and have everything I need to fulfill my destiny.”

When we start dwelling on what God says about us, it will automatically clear out the clutter. Fear can’t stay where faith is. Discouragement can’t stay where hope is.

Stress can’t stay where peace is. Guilt can’t stay where forgiveness is. Mediocrity can’t stay where greatness is. An uncluttered mind is a powerful force.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to live weighed down by the worry, hurts, guilt, and frustrations that creep in and limit my life.

Help me to clear out all the clutter of negative thoughts from my mind and dwell on what You have to say about me. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.”

Then King David went in and sat before the LORD; and he said: “Who am I, O Lord GOD? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?” (2 Samuel 7:18)

We may have a thousand excuses for why we can’t accomplish our dreams and for why we should settle where we are because we’ve reached our limit.

But God is saying to us what He said to Moses, “Is the arm of the Lord too short to deliver?” (Num. 11:23). No, the arm of the Lord will deliver us, provide for us, vindicate us, and promote us. He’s about to take us where we couldn’t go on our own.

In the Scripture, as King David considered his life, he was saying, “I’m not the biggest, the strongest, or the most qualified. I was a shepherd and look where You’ve taken me.” He didn’t have to go after it; it came after him.

God has some far-and-beyond opportunities that are about to come looking for us. It’s the arm of the Lord reaching down to promote, to elevate, to increase us. As with David, we’re going to look back and say, “God, look what we’ve done. I never dreamed we would take me to this level.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that Your arm is never too short to deliver me, provide for me, vindicate me, and promote me.

Thank You that You have far-and-beyond favors that are on the way. I believe that You are taking me to levels I’ve never dreamed. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair. (2 Corinthians 4:8)

The apostle Paul went through all kinds of unfair situations. He was beaten with rods, falsely accused of crimes, lied about by others, put in prison for years, and shipwrecked.

He could have been overwhelmed and crushed under the pressure. Yet he is the one who wrote, “Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph.” He understood that God doesn’t let us face what we can’t handle.

If we stay in faith as Paul did, we’ll discover we’ve been designed to withstand the pressure. we’ll find that the enemy can’t come up with a scheme to outwit the God who created us.

He can’t send a storm that’s so powerful that our walls get blown down. We may be hard pressed, but we will not be crushed. Paul was saying we’ve been designed for the difficulty.

God has taken into account all the weight, all the trouble, and all the bad breaks, and He’s given us the strength, the courage, and the fortitude to withstand.

Are we believing what we’re seeing, or are we believing what we’re reading in God’s Word? What we see may be lack and struggle, but what God is speaking to us is abundance, healing, breakthroughs, and new levels.

Don’t reduce what God’s promised us to fit our faith. Stretch our faith and come up to His level. Every word He promises will come to pass.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for being the God who always leads me to triumph. Thank You that You have designed me to withstand pressure even when I am hard pressed by it.

I believe that You have taken into account all that I need and are supplying me with the strength to overcome. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.
